Meek Mill stopped by “The View” on Wednesday to talk about his gun and drug conviction that ultimately led to him being sentenced to 2 to 4 years in prison.

The rapper also talked about his efforts to bring about criminal justice reform.

Actually, we’re starting one of the biggest foundations surrounding criminal justice reform. 

Me, myself, Michael Rubin, JAY-Z…having platforms like this to be able to speak on situations like myself. Because most of the time, I don’t spend my interviews talking just about my case. 

I spend it talking about just the rules and the laws that were made to actually keep people like myself in these situations.
