Meek Mill Sentenced To House Arrest
Meek Mill remains a free man…well, somewhat.
A Philadelphia judge sentenced the Dreamchasers rapper to 6 to 12 months in county jail, but will allow him to serve the time on house arrest.
Meek, born Robert Rihmeek Williams, will begin by serving a minimum of 90 days on house arrest.
While awaiting his sentencing, Meek put in many hours visiting schools and working this kids. He also spent a lot of time court side at the Sixers games and he released a few mixtapes.
Those days are over…for now. During his house arrest, Meek is restricted from performing, recording, and releasing mixtapes. He is only allowed to continue his charity work.
After 90 days, the judge will reevaluate the sentence to determine how much longer Meek Mill will remain on house arrest.
Even with all the restrictions and stipulations…it still beats sitting in a jail cell.
