Corey 'C-Murder' Miller-1Master P held a rally on the campus of Xavier University on Thursday calling for the release of his brother, Corey “C-Murder” Miller, who is currently serving a life sentence for a murder he did not commit.

On Aug. 11, 2009, a jury voted 10-2 to convict him for the shooting death of 16-year-old Steven Thomas.

In the past two weeks, two witnesses who identified C-Murder as the shooter in the 2002 Louisiana nightclub killing have recanted their testimonies.

Kenneth Jordan said he was pressured by Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives to lie under oath and identify C-Murder or he would face criminal charges.

A security guard who was working in the club that night also recanted his testimony saying he never saw C-Murder with a gun.

At the rally, the No Limit head honcho and C-Murder’s attorney, Paul Barker, addressed the supporters in attendance saying, “Evidence shows that he’s innocent and we can’t wait to get him home.”
