Martin Lawrence and Carl Payne took to social media to remember their dear friend, Thomas Mikal Ford, who passed away on Wednesday.
Martin said his “heart was heavy,” but he went on to remember Tommy as the great person that he was.
“You brought a lot of love 2 the world and you be greatly missed,” Martin wrote.

Tommy was not only a great co star but he was a great man and friend. He always brought with him his spirituality a positive attitude and so much joy. I am sad the world lost a great talent and that I lost a wonderful friend. God bless him and his family.

Carl wrote a heartfelt tribute to his “brother, like no other, from another mother.”
In a post on his Instagram page, Carl thanked Tommy for sharing his gifts with us and noted that he has a job now…to shine in our hearts.
