Manhattan Prosecutors Drop Assault Case Against Remy Ma

Manhattan prosecutors have dropped the case against rapper Remy Ma for allegedly punching her “Love & Hip Hop” co-star, Brittany Taylor, in the face.

Remy Ma, real name Reminisce Mackie, was facing 2 counts of assault in the third degree, 1 count of aggravated harassment in the second degree, and 1 count of harassment in the second degree.

Brittney accused Remy of punching her in the face backstage at a Pretty Lou Benefit Concert at Irving Plaza on April 16.

Following the alleged incident, Brittney sought medical treatment, filed a police report, lawyered up and took to social media to let everyone know what had happened.

Brittney claimed when she entered the backstage area Remy Ma confronted her and accused her of knowing about an attack on Papoose‘s daughter, Dejanae, a few weeks earlier.

They exchanged words and Remy allegedly clocked her in the face.

Police launched an investigation into Remy Ma’s alleged attack and Brittney filed a civil suit against her.

It’s so good to know this case is over and now Remy Ma can put it behind her.
