Emmanuel Aranda, the man who threw a small boy from the 3rd floor of Mall of America has been charged with first-degree attempted murder.
The man who threw a 5-year-old little boy over the 3rd-floor balcony in Mall of America last week has been charged with first-degree attempted murder.
Emmanuel Aranda, 24, told police he was angry because he’d been rejected by women he approached at the Mall of America.
So, Aranda, who had been previously banned from the mall for throwing water in a woman’s face, said he cased out the mall the day before and had planned to kill an adult.
He grabbed an innocent 5-year-old boy instead.
The child, who is named Landon, suffered life-threatening injuries and his family says he will have to undergo multiple surgeries.
Emmanuel Aranda’s family says he has a history of mental illness.
What a terrible and senseless tragedy.
Please continue to pray for Landon and his family.
