Oh, this just keeps on getting better!

Malik Yoba will reprise his role Detective J.C. Williams in ABC’s reboot of “New York Undercover.”

The new series will pick up 20 years after the end of the original series and will follow detectives Nat Gilmore and Melissa Ortiz as they investigate the city’s most dangerous criminals from Harlem to Battery Park. This time around, Williams is overseeing the unit and the next generation of detectives.

ICC friend, Anthony Hemingway is onboard to executive produce and direct the pilot.

In a post on his Instagram page, Anthony wrote:

I’m so excited to reunite with my big bro @malikyoba #NYUC #NewYorkUndercover #Blessings #Divine #CulturalComfortFood

I know folks aren’t really fans of reboots, but “New York Undercover” is in great hands with Anthony!

I can’t wait!
