Congratulations to Chris “Ludacris” Bridges!

The Atlanta rapper-turned-actor has partnered with Ryan Seacrest, Paul Downs Colaizzo, and Nina Wass to executive produce a new marching band drama for CBS.

Here’s the scoop on the show:

The Down Beat” tells the story of a former business mogul on a warpath for personal retribution who is determined to take down two warring gangs in the mean streets of Atlanta by offering possible teen recruits an unlikely refuge: a high school marching band.

When the exciting news broke about his latest endeavor, Luda told his fans, “I’m just getting started…”

No word yet on an air date for “The Beat Down,” but I’ll keep you posted.
