On Friday night, BET Networks joined the President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama at the White House for an incredible musical celebration. The turn up was very real.

The concert, hosted by Terrence J. and Regina Hall, featured performances by Usher, Jill Scott, Common, The Roots, Bell Biv DeVoe, Busta Rhymes, Janelle Monáe, De La Soul, Yolanda Adams, Michelle Williams and KiKi Sheard. Not to mention a star-studded guest list which included Angela Bassett, Jesse Williams, and Samuel L. Jackson.

Camera phones were not allowed, but someone broke the rules to get us this awesome footage of President Obama dancing to Drake‘s “Hotline Bling,” with Usher.

Peep the awesome footage below.

DJ D-Nice, who kept the party poppin on the one’s and two’s, took to his Instagram page to share his amazing experience:

When I returned to the music scene as a DJ after a 15 year hiatus, all I wanted to do was play classic hip-hop at a local New York City lounge. I never imagined that my love of music would one day have me spinning tunes at The White House for a black president.

What I experienced last night was beyond anything I’d ever imagined. Watching POTUS dance while I spun Chicago house records was the highlight of my night. There was a point during my set where I felt completely uninhibited. I knew the people came to dance and that’s exactly what I intended to make them do.

I initially thought about playing it safe but that wouldn’t have been much fun. When I glanced at the painting of George Washington on the wall of the ballroom, I smiled and played MOP’s Ante Up! What a night.

Thank you Mr. President. #BrandNice

The “Love & Happiness” concert special will air on BET on November 15 at 9:00 P.M. ET/PT.
