Lil Boosie Feeling Better After Kidney Surgery

Lil Boosie says he’s “feeling better” after undergoing surgery last Tuesday to remove cancer found on his kidney.

Less than two weeks after revealing his diagnosis, the 33-year-old rapper had a nephrectomy, a procedure to remove half of his kidney at the MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Boosie was happy to report all of the cancer had been removed. He will now spend about three weeks in rehabilitation.

Unfortunately, because Lil Boosie did not have health insurance, he had to pay $90,000 out-of-pocket to have the surgery done.

He had no gripes about it because he was blessed enough to be able to afford to pay for a procedure that would ultimately save his life.

We wish Boosie a full and speedy recovery.
