It’s with a very heavy heart that I report legendary singer/producer Kashif Saleem has passed away.
According to Eurweb, Kashif, born Michael Jones, was found in his Los Angeles home by a neighbor on Monday after.
However, the Los Angeles County Coroners office believes he passed away on Sunday. His cause of death has not been release. But, no foul play is evident.
Kashif’s family confirmed his passing via Twitter:
It is with great sadness we the Family are confirming the passing of music legend Kashif in Los Angeles, CA. We will keep you updated.

Many moons ago, when I was pursuing a career in music, his book, “Everything You’d Better Know About The Music Industry,” became my business bible.
My personal favorite Kashif joint was “Love Changes,” his duet with Meli’sa Morgan.
