The streets of Twitter are in shambles after someone broke the rules of Broadway by recording and leaking a video of “Take Me Out” star Jesse Williams in his birthday suit.
The leak comes on the heels of Jesse receiving a Tony nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Play in his Broadway debut.
“Take Me Out” tells the story of a gay professional baseball player dealing with coming out to his teammates and in the press. It opened on Broadway last month.
In the play, Jesse Williams goes full-frontal in a shower scene.
The actor admitted he was “terrified” to be on stage nude, but said:
I noted that that was what I asked God for.
I asked to be terrified. I asked to do something that was scary and challenging and made me earn it and made me feel alive and not comfortable.
Typically, it would have and should have been a safe space, but someone violated the phone policy and Meaty Monday commenced.
