Lauren London recently opened up about returning to acting.

The actress said she was hesitant, but after reading the Without Remorse script she identified with the character and decided it would be good for her sons to see her moving forward with grief.

We can’t stop, you know? We do have a purpose, all of us, and it’s important for my sons to see me moving forward with grief, not just curling up in a ball because I curled up in a ball for a long time.

But we will continue moving on as we had to, as he would want us to.

Lauren’s eternal love, rapper Nipsey Hussle, born Ermias Joseph Asghedom, was killed on March 31, 2019, outside of his Marathon Clothing Company store in Los Angeles.

The couple has a four-year-old son together, Kross Ermias Asghedom.

Lauren’s eldest son, 11-year-old Kameron Carter, is from her previous relationship with Lil Wayne.

Lauren said Kameron was especially motivating, and being the oldest he is more “aware.”

Lauren recently honored Nipsey on the second anniversary of his passing in an IG post.

In a great interview with ET’s Nischelle Turner, Lauren talks about moving forward with her grief, and how she identified with her character in Without Remorse.
