On Wednesday, the actor posted a photo of his son, Lennon Lorin, and celebrated his melanin.
The proud papa wrote:
LL Kool G my ? little man’s color is comin’ in nicely! I’m hyped! ????✊?

To his surprise, some folks began to accuse him of colorism.
One commenter said, he’s celebrating his dark son, but he’d be “pressed” if his daughter was dark.
Lance got it all off of his chest in his statement where he said, “I am a proud BLACK man that loves my African American wife and that will remain”
He went on to add, “Colorism exists, yes but y’all not about to just label every dark skin Black man who is in a relationship with someone of a lighter complexion under that bus.”
