When one door closes another always opens.

A month after he was booted from the Big 3 league, Lamar Odom announced he will be competing on season 28 of “Dancing with the Stars.”

In a post on his Instagram page, Lammy wrote:

YES!!! It’s on!!! I’m doing DANCING WITH THE STARS! ??? @dancingabc ❤️ I don’t think the world ? is ready to see my dance moves yet!!

Lamar Odom will be competing against Mary Wilson of The Supremes, Karamo Brown, Hannah Brown, Christie Brinkley, Lauren Alaina, actor James Van Der Beek, Ray Lewis, Kate Flannery, Ally Brooke, Kel Mitchell, and Donald Trump’s former press secretary Sean Spicer.

The new season of DWTS premieres on September 16 at 8/7c on ABC.
