Austin is accused of shooting a 27-year-old woman in the shoulder after they got into an argument around 2:55 p.m. The case is classified as a domestic violence attack, according to court records.

The woman who was shot was broadcasting on Facebook while she argued with Austin, who was in a car in the 6400 block of South Calumet Avenue in the Parkway Gardens neighborhood on the South Side, police said.

Austin took out a gun and fired, according to police.

She is charged with aggravated battery with a firearm and is scheduled to appear again in court on Tuesday.
