Kodak Black was presumed missing for a bit after he failed to show up for his show in Boston on Wednesday night.
Turns out – he had been arrested at the U.S. border for guns and drugs.
According to TMZ, Kodak, real name Bill K. Kapri, and three others were stopped by U.S. Customs Agents at the Lewiston-Queenston International Bridge as they were leaving Canada.
Kodak was reportedly driving a Cadillac Escalade with a temporary California registration.
Officers claim they discovered weed on the rapper and after inspecting the vehicle, they found a Glock 9mm pistol. (No one claimed ownership of the gun).
There was a Porsche following Kodak occupied by his team. That driver claimed ownership of to loaded guns in their car and one in the trunk.
An officer described one of the guns as an “AK-style handgun with a 30-round magazine. It looks like an AK, but it’s a handgun.” Yikes!
Kodak Black was expeditiously arrested for criminal possession of a weapon (which is a felony) and a misdemeanor possession of marijuana charge.
Stetson President and Madarrow Smith were both arrested for criminal possession of a weapon.
Jeantony Saintmelus, who was driving the Porsche, was booked for criminal possession of a weapon and possession of marijuana.
