After getting dragged over the coals this weekend for an interview he did with the NRA where he defended gun ownership, Killer Mike has issued an apology.
In a video posted on his Instagram page, the Grammy Award-winning rapper offered clarity on what his intentions were and how the NRA misused his interview as a weapon against the young people who organized the incredible March For Our Lives rally calling for new gun laws.
I’m sorry that an interview I did about a minority, black people in this country, and gun rights was used as a weapon against you guys.
That was unfair to you and it was wrong, and it disparaged some very noble work you’re doing.
