Kendrick Lamar Surprises Fan With Wheelchair Accessible Van

Not only is he a phenomenal artist, Kendrick Lamar is a great man with a heart of gold.

The platinum-selling rapper surprised a longtime fan backstage at his DAMN Tour with something that she not only wanted…but needed.

30-year-old Jennifer Phillips has been a quadriplegic for 10 years after suffering a serious spinal cord injury and she had recently launched a GoFundMe campaign to purchase a wheelchair accessible van.

Jennifer met Kendrick for the first time 6 years ago and has been a true inspiration to the Hip Hop star.

When the two reunited, Kendrick Lamar surprised Jennifer by purchasing her a new wheelchair accessible van.

He delivered the news by presenting Jennifer some merch with a handwritten message on it that read:

Thank you for always supporting me. You’r an inspiration for me. You are strong and positive. You’re kind and beautiful. For all of the years of inspiring me, the least i can do is make sure you’re comfortable driving the city. A gift from me to you. You’re always appreciated!
