UGH! Just when you think this story couldn’t get any more heartbreaking…
July 10 marked the 20th anniversary of the day Gloria Williams kidnapped Kamiyah Mobley at birth and fled to South Carolina, where she raised her as her own child.
Two years after being reunited with her biological parents, Kamiyah’s family is still in turmoil.
Her relationship with her biological mother, Shanara Mobley, is deeply damaged because still loves her abductor and considers Gloria as her mother.
Shanara can’t grasp and accept her daughter loving the woman who tore her world apart when she stole her baby 20 years ago.
Now, Shanara says she wishes her daughter never came back!
In a recent interview, she admitted:
I truly really feel deep in my heart that I wish she wouldn’t have never came back. I really do.
Because you came back – this woman made a mockery of my life when she took my baby. And not only did you make a mockery when you brought my baby back, but you [Kamiyah] helped her make a mockery of my life!
And this judge allows this lady to keep reaching out to my child every day.
Shanara went to say she’s not celebrating Kamiyah’s birthday.
No, I’m not celebrating Kamiyah’s 20th birthday.
This is the second Mother’s Day that I didn’t get a text, I didn’t get a call, I didn’t get card – nothing!
I’m not celebrating her 20th birthday!

Gloria Williams was recently sentenced to 18 years in jail for kidnapping Kamiyah, but she still has daily contact with her according to Shanara.
This is such a tragedy on so many levels.
