K. Michelle Goes In On Angela Yee During Her ‘Breakfast Club’ Interview
When K. Michelle stops by “The Breakfast Club,” a headline is sure to follow!
The R&B star, who just released her new album, More Issues Than Vogue, stopped by the popular morning show on Tuesday with a bone to pick with Angela Yee.
K. was NOT happy with Angela about the way she egged on Maino and Uncle Murda to talk about the singer’s alleged crock pot odor.
Here’s the clip in case you missed it:
When Charlamagne brought up, K. Michelle let Angela Yee have it.
You’re a woman and I think I’ve been very cool and very supportive of you. The interview was over and the credits were running…YOU brought that back up!
And the thing about that is, I know you want ratings. But, you are a woman and no woman wants a body and no woman wants something like that on them.
So, they wasn’t even talking about that. YOU brought that back up!
What I’m saying to you is YOU knew! You’re close with Atlantic. You knew my album came out the next day. You didn’t know what legs that bullsh*t was going to take. You get what I’m saying?! But, that God people know me and people actually was looking at those n***as like, ‘Oh, those some cornballs.’ So, that’s cool.
But, you are a woman and you as someone who is so close with my label…every album release I have bullsh*t! EVERY ONE! I never get to enjoy it!
So, thank God I got to enjoy this album release. Because it didn’t do anything and it didn’t effect anything.
K. Michelle continued:
But, you being a woman and you see me…you see me out here! YOU brought that back up! You had already addressed that. There was no need for you to open your mouth. Then, you sitting over there giggling and kee-keeing!
YOU brought it up! YOU sat there and chuckled! YOU did that and you don’t know what that might have done to me! If I wasn’t a b**ch that was drinkin her drink and cashing her checks – it might would have f**ked up my whole motherf**kin day!
My thing with you is…that fact that you are friends and family of the label! You have to do a job. But, maybe before you open your mouth when you do your job, you should look at the time. You were at my listening party! You knew that album was coming out. You know how the media attacked me. So, you know any negative headline that they can put up about me to overshadow my music is what they do!
What you did was f**ked up! Next topic!
