Juelz Santana is scheduled to turn himself in on January 30 to begin his 27-month prison sentence, but he’s pleading for more time.
The rapper and “Love & Hip Hop” star has filed court papers asking that his surrender date is postponed for another 30 days.
According to The Blast, the newlywed says he needs more time to get his affairs in order and he also noted that it is imperative to his career that he is able to travel to Atlanta to attend a filming of a Tyler Perry reunion.
The docs state, “This event is connected to his participation in the television show ‘Love & Hip Hop.’ It is crucial to his professional career that he be able to participate, and it will provide closure for him as he embarks on his term of imprisonment.”
Juelz should have been lining up his ducks as soon as he was convicted, but he had a wedding to plan.
Hopefully, everything works out in Juelz and his family’s best interest.
