Ashanti Douglas, 34, told the jury she felt “disgusted, disrespected, and scared” by the graphic messages.

Unfortunately, the singer may have to testify in a third trial if Prosecutor Kathryn Werner told Justice Roger Hayes follows through on her promise to retry Hurd.

Devar Hurd, who has been in custody since his arrest two years ago on $750,000 bond, asked the judge to release him without bail.

Hurd’s request was denied.
