Ashanti’s stalker has slipped through the hands of justice once again!

A Manhattan judge was forced to declare a mistrial for the second time after a jury could not reach a unanimous decision on whether Devar Hurd was guilty of felony stalking.

Last year, a different judge declared a mistrial after a juror got sick during deliberations.

Although the jury was deadlocked on the felony stalking charge, they did convict Hurd on 9 counts of misdemeanor criminal contempt, stalking and harassment for violating his restraining order by taking a photo with Ashanti‘s little sister and for sending the award-winning singer hundreds of sexually explicit tweets.

On October 1, the R&B star was forced to take the stand and answer questions from her accused stalker, who represented himself in the case.
