FOX4 and the Dallas Morning News have confirmed a man was indeed murdered on Friday night.

Officers were called about 10:30 p.m. to the 4600 block of Cedar Springs Road, where several witnesses flagged them down and directed them to the victim’s location.

Police found a man on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Witnesses told police they heard several gunshots and saw a silver four-door sedan speeding out of the parking lot.

Photo journalist FOX 4 Terry confirmed Dallas police are being “extremely tight-lipped” about the shooting considering the victim is reportedly Joshua Brown.

Attorney Lee Merritt took to Facebook on Saturday afternoon and stated the Dallas District Attorney confirmed Joshua Brown as the victim in the shooting.
