This plot is thickening like cold grits… John Legend took to the streets of Jack Dorsey’s Twitter on Friday and said the alleged DM exchanges Michael Costello posted, where Chrissy Teigen was bullying him, are “fake.”

You may recall, after Chrissy offered her heartfelt apology, Michael took to social media to share how she bullied him to the brink of suicide and left him traumatized for many years.

It appears someone at Business Insider had some extra time on their hands and went Inspector Gadget on the case to uncover inconsistencies with the DMs from the missing verified check mark to the background color of the text.

Go, Go, Gadget DMs!

John Legend shared the post with a few things he wanted to get off of his chest!

Chrissy apologized for her public tweets, but after her apology, Mr. Costello fabricated a DM exchange between them. This exchange was made up, completely fake, never happened.

Honestly, I don’t know why anyone would fake DMs to insert themselves in this narrative, but that’s what happened.

I encourage everyone who breathlessly spread this lie to keep that same energy when they correct the record.

WAIT! So, you mean to tell me Michael faked DMs about Chrissy bullying him over a fake Instagram comment?!

Ever since he tried to burn Chrissy Teigen at the stake, Michael Costello has had others come forward with stories about their awful experiences with him.

But, model and former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Eva Marcille is gone stick beside him.

What a hot designer mess all of this has become!
