John Legend To Help Former Inmates

John Legend is becoming as well known for his philanthropy as his music.

During the Town & Country Philanthropy Summit, the award-winning singer and producer announced “Unlocked Futures,” his new initiate that will provide job training for former inmates.

John stated, “Sometimes it is hard to get hired so you have to hire yourself. I have [teamed] with New Profit and Bank of America to reinvest in formerly incarcerated entrepreneurs.”

Kudos to him!

John Legend is also gracing the latest issue of Town & Country magazine.
