Jess Hilarious has taken to social media with an official statement and apology in the wake of her facing “cancellation” over her actions and response to criticism after she racially-profiled 4 Sikh men on a flight.
The comedian and actress appeared to be emotional (or her sinuses were acting up) as she read a statement she prepared from her cellphone.
Jess blamed her age and ignorance for her actions before extending an apology to the men she profiled, as well as the Muslim community and her fanbase.
The good news is many people reached out to Jess to school her and she seems receptive to it now.
