JAY-Z Releases ‘Smile’ Video
JAY-Z has released the official music video for “Smile” one of the most personal tracks from his latest album, 4:44.
Gloria Carter joins her son on the No-ID-produced track, “Smile,” and opens up about living as a closeted lesbian for years.

Dominique Fishback, of HBO’s “The Deuce,” stars in the heartbreaking Miles Jay-directed video as Ms. Carter.
She tweeted:

Ms. Gloria also makes a cameo at the end of the video as she reads her poem in a support group.
