janet-jackson-tupac-shakur-among-rock-and-roll-hall-of-fame-nominees

Tupac Shakur and Janet Jackson were among 19 musicians nominated on Tuesday for induction in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The late legendary rapper and actor and the Pop icon and actress starred in John Singleton‘s classic 1993 film, Poetic Justice, together.

How poetic would it be for them to enter the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame together?

In order to qualify for nomination, the artists had to have released their first recording at least 25 years ago.

Chaka Khan, British progressive rock band Yes, Pearl Jam, Steppenwolf, and Depeche Mode are also among the list nominees.

The names of the 2017 inductees will be announced in December once voting is complete.
