Terrence Jenkins Announces His Departure From “E! News”

On Tuesday, “E! News” co-anchor Terrence Jenkins shocked viewers when announced he would be departing the show.

I will be leaving ‘E! News.’ It’s a decision that I’ve thought about long and hard and I love you guys to the bottom of my heart.

In his heartfelt farewell, Terrence said he’s been on national television for over 10 years and he’s ready for new things, challenges, and dreams.

I started hosting when I was 16 years old back in North Carolina, and I’ve been now on national television for over 10 years. 17 years, that’s a long time, and I think in order for someone to grow it’s important that you try new things and you create new challenges, create new dreams for yourself.

Terrence Jenkins’ departure comes just six months after longtime anchor Giuliana Rancic left. His last day is Wednesday (Dec. 16).

So what’s next for Terrence J?

Well, he has produced and is starring in his very first feature film titled, The Perfect Match. As you can imagine, he will be very busy promoting the project and he also hinted to some other acting opportunities coming his way.
