Ime Udoka Trends As He's Expected To Be The Brooklyn Nets New Coach

Nia Long is not the only one giving Ime Udoka a second chance, according to numerous sports outlets, so are the Brooklyn Nets.

The Brooklyn Nets fired their head coach, Steve Nash, on Monday (November 1) after the team started the season with two wins and five losses with one of the worst defensive ratings in the NBA.

Nash was scrutinized by many in sports media two years ago when he was hired by the Brooklyn Nets with no prior NBA head coaching experience.

The talent on the Nets has championship potential, but they have only won one playoff series in two years, and they got swept in the first round of the playoffs last year by the Ime Udoka-coached Boston Celtics.

Ime Udoka was suspended by the Boston Celtics for the 2022-23 season for having an improper consensual relationship with a subordinate before training camp, but according to sources, the Celtics never planned to prohibit Udoka from accepting another coaching job.

So, the Brooklyn Nets seized the opportunity to holla at Udoka, and a deal is projected to be finalized by Wednesday (November 3).

Ironically, this scenario makes ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith look like Nostradamus because he predicted this would happen weeks ago.

Udoka coached the Celtics to the 2022 NBA Finals in his first year as head coach, and it’s going to be interesting to see what he does with superstars like Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant.

The Celtics hired an independent law firm to look into Udoka’s improper consensual relationship, and they found that he used crude language in his dialogue with the female subordinate, which factored into his one-year suspension.

The primary finding was that an improper relationship between a superior and a subordinate existed in the organization, violating policy.

The investigation was completed early last week.

According to Massai Z. Dorsey, Nia’s ex and father of her oldest son, who also considers Ime a good friend, supports him 100%.

We talk as a family, and it’s all about unconditional love, and that’s what she’s giving him.

We’re sticking by him 100%.

All I could say is good things about Ime. He’s a good man. All these years.

I’m happy he’s in my son’s life. Ime made a mistake. Every man needs another chance.

Like the Bible says, the flesh is weak. He’s not a bad guy. Hopefully, he learned from this.

A lot of sports media outlets seem to conveniently leave out that the improper relationship was consensual.
