Iconic 'Star Wars' Actress Carrie Fisher Passes Away At 60

Actress Carrie Fisher, best known for her iconic role as Princess Leia in Star Wars, passed away on Tuesday morning. She was 60.

Carrie suffered a massive heart attack on Friday (Dec 23) on a flight from London to LAX.

According to her family, she was in stable condition at the UCLA Medical Center, but Carrie Fisher was not responsive after her medical emergency.

Carrie is survived by her daughter, Billie Lourde, her brother, Todd Fisher, and sisters Tricia and Joely Fisher. Billie made an appearance alongside her mom in The Force Awakens.

My deepest condolences to her family and friends.
