On Tuesday, we welcomed actress, singer, and reality TV star Demetria McKinney to “The Ice Cream Convos Morning Show” and we had a blast!

Demetria gave us the scoop on her forthcoming EP, Officially Yours, slated to drop this spring.

We got the scoop on her relationship with Roger Bobb and how she dealt with the unwarranted shade from Phaedra Parks on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”

Demetria brought her hot new singles, “100” featuring Da Brat, and “Trade It All” for our listening pleasure.

We asked Demetria McKinney to set the record straight regarding the various reports that her hit single, “100,” was a rip off of Uncle Reece’s gospel recording, “I Can’t Help Myself.”

Demetria told Ice Cream Convos exclusively:

I have never had the opportunity to meet him. Uncle Reece is from what I understand…a gospel artist and I’m wishing him thee best in what he is doing.

So, we’re in totally different genres and what happened was the producers of the song were having me and him record, I guess, simultaneously and I did not know until purchase. So we do have the same track, but it was not stolen! It was basically sold to two different artists which is why it’s actually not him…he’s not the one making this claim.

When I read it and I was just sitting there like ‘Wooow…people are funny.’ But, no…”100″ is a very, very similar track to what he is doing, but it was not stolen from him in any way, shape, or form.

I don’t get down like that. I don’t have to steal nothing!
