HBO to premiere Jordan Davis documentary

On Monday, November 23, HBO will premiere the Jordan Davis documentary, 3 1/2 Minutes, Ten Bullets, on the third anniversary of his death.

The Sundance-winning documentary examines the 2012 murder of Jordan Davis, an unarmed African-American teen, and the larger questions regarding racism in modern America that his case inspired.

On November 23, 2012, the 17-year-old was shot and killed by Michael Dunn in a gas station parking lot during an argument over the loud music coming from a truck occupied by Jordan and his friends.

Dunn, who claimed he opened fire on the teens because he feared for his life, was sentenced to life in prison without parole in October 2014. His sentence also carries an additional 90 years for three convictions of attempted murder and firing a weapon into a vehicle with multiple passengers.
