HBO has released a first look at their highly anticipated TV movie, “Confirmation” starring Kerry Washington and Wendell Pierce.
Here’s the scoop on “Confirmation” via Deadline:
The film details the explosive 1991 confirmation hearings for Supreme Court nominee Clarence Thomas (Pierce) that were rocked by testimony by Oklahoma law professor Anita Hill (Washington), which brought the country to a standstill and forever changed the way we think about sexual harassment, victims’ rights and modern race relations.
Greg Kenner, Jeffrey Wright, Eric Stonestreet, and Jennifer Hudson also round out the amazing cast.
