Hannah Kohn set a national record by hitting 19 3-pointers in a single game on Tuesday night (December 7) leading her Hagerty Huskies team to a 88-23 win over the Lyman Greyhounds.

She tied a national school record by hitting 11 3-pointers in a half, and she hit 8 more in the second half.

Hannah surpassed the previous record of 17 3-pointers made in a single game which was held by Jaden Newman from Discovery High School in Lake Alfred, Florida since 2018.

Hagerty High School is located in Oviedo, Florida.

Hannah finished the game with 61 points, which is a new school record at Hagerty High.

Hannah said after the game:

Having all my family there and my teammates who are also some of my best friends and my coach who I have known forever, just like the atmosphere was just good vibes.

Her dad Josh Kohn is the head basketball coach for the boys basketball team at Hagerty, and he played college basketball at UNC-Asheville in the 1990s.

He clearly has done a great job teaching Hannah how to shoot.

Hannah Kohn is currently a junior, and I’m sure those college recruiters are beating down her door.
