George Zimmerman injured in road rage shooting

George Zimmerman, the menace to society who was acquitted in the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, was injured on Monday when a driver opened fire on him during a “road rage” confrontation.

Initial reports claimed Zimmerman was shot in the face, but that information is false.

Attorney Don West, a lawyer for Zimmerman, says his client was sprayed with glass from his vehicle’s windshield after being involved in a shooting. Zimmerman’s injuries were not serious and he has been released from the hospital.

An eyewitness, who called 911, said the alleged shooter told him he has had run-ins with Zimmerman in the past. Apparently, today…he reached his breaking point.

I was working in the back yard and I heard the shots, and I said, ‘That sounded like gunshots,'” said witness George Paschek. “I heard two (shots). I didn’t hear no crashes, cars hitting each other or anything like that.”

The story is still developing…
