Future joined “HuffPost Live” on Monday to promote his forthcoming album, DS2, but it was the petty shots he fired at Ciara that has everyone talking.
At one point during his convo with Marc Lamont Hill, the topic shifted to Russell Wilson and Ciara’s decision to abstain from sex to do it “Jesus’ way.”
You may recall, the NFL star revealed God spoke to him and told him to lead Ciara.
I’ll never forget she was on tour. She was traveling and I was looking at her in the mirror. I was sitting in the dressing room and she was getting ready to go…about 15 minutes before she went on stage. She was sitting there and God spoke to me and said, ‘I need you to lead her.’ And I was like, ‘Really?! Right now?’
He was like, ‘I want you and need you to lead her.’ I told her right then and there, ‘What would you do if we took all of that extra stuff off of the table and just did it Jesus’ way?’
Future appeared amused by the information and responded by saying, “God told me something else. He ain’t tell me to wait. I guarantee you that.”
The “Trophy” rapper added, “We prayed afterward though. After we did it, we prayed. That’s a true story.”
Ciara was NOT happy with the remarks made by her son’s father.
The “I Bet” singer took to her Twitter account to address the interview.
Kudos to Ciara for keeping it classy.
Future did himself a huge disservice by talking about Ciara and Russell during an interview about his album.
No one likes a bitter baby daddy.
