Welp. Frank Ocean fans are going to need “novacane” after learning the singer has canceled his scheduled performance during the second weekend of Coachella.

According to a rep for Grammy Award-winning artist, he suffered a leg injury during the first week of the festival and a doctor has advised him not to perform the following week due to two fractures and a sprain in his left leg.

In a statement, Frank Ocean said, “It was chaotic. There is some beauty in chaos. It isn’t what I intended to show but I enjoy being out there and I’ll see you soon.”

Frank’s Coachella performance last Sunday marked his first live show since 2017 and fans were excited, eager and ready.

But, apparently, the show didn’t give what it was supposed to had gave because folks took to social media and heavily criticized his performance.

The first issue was that they announced Frank’s performance would not be live-streamed on the official Coachella YouTube channel like the rest of the festival.

Then, Frank Ocean channeled his inner Lauryn Hill and hit the stage an hour late, and for most of his performance, he sat in the middle of the stage covered by a massive screen.

The nail in the coffin was when he abruptly ended the show due to the strict midnight curfew on Sundays at Coachella.

The debacle resulted in folks calling Frank a “scammer” in the streets of social media.

With everything that has transpired thus far the cancellation of Frank’s headlining performance really doesn’t come as a surprise. Does it?

According to Rolling Stone, Frank Ocean will be replaced by Blink-182 as the headliner at Coachella.
