My heart is sinking as I report this tragic story out of New York City…
Former Playboy model Stephanie Adams and her 7-year-old son, Vincent, jumped to their deaths from the 25th floor of the Gotham Hotel in Midtown early Friday morning.
NY Daily News reports Stephanie was in the middle of a divorce from her husband, Charles Nicolai, owner of Wall Street Chiropractic & Wellness.
Stephanie didn’t leave a note in the hotel room where she and her son spent the night before jumping to their deaths.
Their bodies were spotted on a roof next door to the Gotham Hotel by guests at the E. 46th St. hotel off Fifth Ave. and the police were called around 8:30 a.m.
“She loved that child,” said attorney Sanford Rubenstein, who represented Adams in a 2012 lawsuit against the NYPD. “It’s a horrible, horrible tragedy.”
A few months ago, Stephanie was tweeting about kids going through divorce and dealing with abusers.
The only person who should ever be ashamed in a domestic abuse incident is the abuser. Stand tall and stay strong. Find the right support and always maintain your safety. Get the help you and your child need now to no longer be a victim. https://t.co/nhhNDLnv3T #NoExcuseForAbuse
