Mental Telepathy Pictures has released a first look at Storm Saulter‘s indie drama, Sprinter, before it premieres at the African Black Film Festival in Miami on June 14 and 15.
Robert Maylor, Clarence Hammond and Jamal Watson are producing the film.
About The Film:
Shot on location in Jamaica, Sprinter tells the story of Akeem Sharp (Dale Elliott), a Jamaican teen burdened by an unstable father and an unruly older brother, who hopes a meteoric rise in track-and-field can reunite him with his mother, who has lived illegally in the U.S. for over a decade.
