FIRST LOOK: Roshon Fegan As Bobby DeBarge In TV One’s ‘Bobby DeBarge Story’ Biopic

TV One and Swirl Films have released the first look at Roshon Fegan as Bobby DeBarge in their forthcoming biopic, “The Bobby DeBarge Story.”

In a post on their Instagram page, the network wrote:

A musical genius, a falsetto master, a talent that left us too soon.

Today, we celebrate the life and legacy of Bobby DeBarge who would’ve been 63 years old. His music will never leave us, his impact…everlasting.

And coming in June, TV One will share his untold story with the world. #BobbyDeBargeStory

Roshon (“Greenleaf“) has been tapped to star in the leading role as Bobby DeBarge.

Tyra Ferrell has been cast as Etterlene DeBarge and Adrian Marcel will play James DeBarge.

Big Boi will portray legendary music mogul Berry Gordy and singer Lloyd will appear in the film as Switch member Gregory Williams.

Lloyd took to social media to share his excitement over his very first movie role:

I’m so humbled to announce That I have just completed filming for my FIRST ever movie role! You can catch me playing the part of Gregory Williams, formerly of the band Switch (and founding member), in the soon to be premiered #TheBobbyDebargeStory on @tvonetv
