Gunfight Ensues After Fetty Wap Is Robbed

A gunfight broke out early Sunday morning after Fetty Wap was allegedly robbed in his hometown of Paterson, New Jersey.

According to reports, the incident, law enforcement is calling a “dispute,” resulted in three men suffering gunshot wounds. Fetty was injured in the madness.


The city’s hometown hip-hop star Fetty Wap was involved in a dispute that erupted in gunfire, resulting in three people being wounded at an all-night deli in South Paterson, according to law enforcement sources.

Fetty Wap, whose real name is Willie Maxwell, was not injured in the incident, police said. None of the people who were shot suffered life-threatening wounds, police said.

Paterson Deputy Police Chief Troy Oswald confirmed that Fetty Wap and several of his friends were involved in the shooting, which happened shortly after 5 a.m. Sunday at a deli on Montclair Avenue. Oswald said the hip-hop star and his friends are not suspects in the shooting or a robbery that happened during the incident.
