Ex-Cop Jailed For Murder Of Jordan Edwards
Roy Oliver is turned himself into Parker County Sheriff’s office on Friday evening on murder charges in the shooting death Jordan Edwards.
The former Balch Springs officer who fatally shot 15-year-old with a rifle as he left a party then lied about the events surrounding the deadly shooting.
Days after the shooting, Oliver was terminated when evidence proved he was not truthful about the shooting.
A judge signed the murder warrant on Friday (May 5) and Oliver’s bond is set at $300,000.
If convicted Roy Oliver may face life in prison.
