Tahiry-Jose-Joe-Budden-Evelyn-Lozada-victim-bullying

“Victim bullying” remarks Joe Budden made on his podcast about Evelyn Lozada have set off a chain reaction that has resulted in his ex-girlfriend, Tahiry Jose, addressing the alleged domestic violence she suffered during their relationship.

On Episode 592 of his podcast, Joe and his co-hosts were discussing Megan Thee Stallion‘s sitdown interview with Gayle King and the convo shifted to “victim bullying.”

That’s when Joe Budden compared the drama between Megan and Tory Lanez to that of Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson and his ex-wife, Evelyn Lozada.

You may recall, Ochocinco was arrested for domestic battery on August 11, 2012, after he head-butted Evelyn during an argument causing a massive gash on her forehead.

As a result, he was cut from the Miami Dolphins and his life was in shambles.

In 2014, he took to Twitter writing:

3 seconds of anger cost me a lifetimes worth of work…

See the original tweet below.

In fact, Chad often referenced those “3 seconds” via social media over the years.

Evelyn reacted to the tweets saying:

For this man to sit up there and say that he lost his temper for 3 seconds is infuriating to me.

It’s messages like this, tweets or whatever the hell it was, that are triggers for me.

People read this on social media and are coming at me talking about ‘oh you made this man lose his job’ it’s like if you’re gonna speak the truth, I want you to speak the truth as to what the situation was.

It wasn’t the first time, it wasn’t the first time!

And, one of the things I’m always gonna do is I’m always gonna live in my truth, whether it’s good, whether it’s bad, whether it’s ugly, I’m not going to let anybody take away my f**king truth and put this perception out there for a pity party as if you made one mistake.

And, I’m trying to move on from this. But, as a victim, how am I supposed to move on?!

What happened to me that day and other days, I didn’t deserve. I didn’t deserve that.

During his podcast, Joe Budden accused Evelyn Lozada of “victim bullying” Ochocinco by bringing up his domestic violence “anytime his name came up.”

Joe said:

Chad Johnson, Ochocinco’s ex-wife…

He’s on a whole new relationship, he’s married…whatever he is – he’s happy.

They happy. She’s happy.

For years, anytime his name came up, she popped up!

It has nothing to do with her, but she popped up and said, ‘Hey, he did this!’

It didn’t matter the rehabilitation he’d done, it didn’t matter the changes he’s made, the apologies, both public and private…

Yo dawg, for the next seven, eight, nine, ten years every time I do something positive you’re going to pop up with this victim story.

And you are the victim. So, I don’t take that away.

But, that’s bullying.

Watch the video below.

Of course, Evelyn Lozada took to social media to respond to Joe’s remarks.

She wrote:

I’m gonna keep screaming to the heavens no matter what another abuser has to say about my past abusive relationship!

From there, Evelyn began to repost comments via her Instagram Story including one that said:

Joe…. You beat the literal BABY out of your ex-girlfriend. PLEASE SHUT UP.

Evelyn added:

Disgusting human! How do you even still have a platform to speak on anyone’s abusive relationship?!

Evelyn Lozada

Evelyn Lozada took it a step further by posting photos of her injuries with the caption:

Let’s not forget @JoeBudden should @TheRealTahiry post hers?!!!!!

Tahiry responded:

@EvelynLozada I’m so sorry nobody should ever have to go thru this.

I’m shaking!!!!

He fractured my rib & punched me in the face. I don’t have pictures but I’m sure his other ex’s do.

She also added:

I’ve blocked this out for such a long time. I’ve tricked my brain into ignoring all of it. I attend therapy on a regular basis now. It’s hard to have to re-live this every freaking time and the noise that comes with it.
