ESPYs: Chance The Rapper Performs Moving Tribute To Muhammad Ali

Chance The Rapper Tributes Muhammad Ali

Chance The Rapper closed out the 2016 ESPY Awards by paying tribute to Muhammad Ali with a moving original song.

The Chicago-native took center stage, with a boxing ring microphone in hand, and sang:

I swear…
Ain’t nowhere greater
Ain’t nowhere brighter
Ain’t nowhere better
Ain’t no one prettier
Ain’t no one wiser
Ain’t no one better
I was a rock
I was a rock and roller
Back in my day
But, now…I’m just a rock

Chance performed the beautiful gospel-infused song as images of “The Greatest of All Time” rolled on the screen behind him.

Before the ESPYs, Chance The Rapper joined Stephen Curry for a little pre-show warm-up!
