Erykah Badu is addressing the backlash she received over her remarks about Hitler during her recent interview with Vulture.

In case you missed it, the singer and actress said she’s a humanist who even saw “something good in Hitler.”
Taking to Twitter, Ms. Badu said in her efforts to stress her point, she used one of the worst examples possible.
People are in real pain. So I understand why my ‘good’ intent was misconstrued as ‘bad’. In trying to express a point, I used 1 of the worst examples possible, Not to support the cruel actions of an unwell, psychopathic Adolf Hitler, but to only exaggerate a show of compassion.
