Donovan McNabb to serve jail time for second DUI.

Donovan McNabb has been sentenced to serve 18 days in jail for his extreme DUI arrest in June.

The 38-year-old former NFL star was arrested in in Gilbert, Arizona on June 28 when he crashed his car into a stopped car at a red light. His blood alcohol level was more than double the legal limit.

McNabb pleaded guilty and was fined $6,342.23. In addition to his 18 days in jail (with work release), he will remain on house arrest for the remainder of his 90-day sentence. McNabb will also enter counseling, be placed on unsupervised probation, and he will have to complete 30 hours of community service.

This is Donovan’s second DUI offense. He was arrested for driving under the influence in 2013 and served one day in jail in 2014.

18 days in jail is a slap on the wrist considering it’s his second offense.

Donovan McNabb will have to report to jail on November 30.
