Donald Trump Liable Sexual Abuse E. Jean Carroll

A jury found Donald Trump liable for sexually abusing E. Jean Carroll in 1996. 

The verdict was announced in a federal courtroom on Tuesday in New York City on the first day of jury deliberations. 

While the jury rejected Carroll’s claims that she was raped by the former president of the United States.

However, they did find him liable for sexual abuse and for defaming E. Jean Carroll after she made her allegations against him public. 

The jury awarded the advice columnist $5 million in damages. 

Donald Trump did not attend the civil trial and was absent when the verdict was read. 

Trump took to Truth Social to react to the verdict writing: 

I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHO THIS WOMAN IS.

THIS VERDICT IS A DISGRACE – A CONTINUATION OF THE GREATEST WITCH HUNT OF ALL TIME!
